1000 Cranes for Peace: Backgrounds

I did these quick backgrounds, made up of images. the girl in the window is only there as a place holder. as it is only the background concept. however i havent spoken to anja recently so im not 100% certain if this is what she wants, or wants me to do something else.





my reasoning behind these images compiled of the solid pictures as they are is because of the enthasis i wanted to put on freedom, or vice versa, being unable to be free unable to move the way she used to. so when i was asked to do these backgrounds i wanted to make it seem rigid on the inside, and bleak, without much hope. in contrast when you think of freedom you often would picture motion or escaping into a greater area.
