Junk Food: Animatic Panic
Not really a panic, but as we ar elooking to push forward for our animatic ive been looking up some animatics and see where we can go with ours. here are a few i dug up on youtube, i went for more famouse and credible animatics.

further samples of storyboard work first frame, and then the 2nd frame (i will be using the first frame further as the opening shot requires multiple cut backs, so no sense redrawing an entire page for facial expression changes etc.)
Junk Food: Self Generatin
well im doing what i was told to do, "be self generating". which was explained to me as, just generate more work. so here is another concept, i took elements from the 2nd Girl concept as i liked the clothing from it, and put it into this 4th concept. I re-traced it from my notebook into sketchbook pro. unfortunatly ive almost destroyed the original work doing so, as going over the lines so many times eventually tore it up lol.
Ive begun story boarding, it might be seen as a little much for just a storyboard i will prolly tone it down slowly as compared to the first panel, but i just wanted something fairly solid to capture attention.

Junk Food: Junkfood of war?
with the new game Gears of War 2 released, i took a look into some of the concept work in the new release by Epic Games. I feel elements from the environment concepts / theme can work well with chris' environment designs. of course this is just research, something of a mood board post if you will.

Junk Food: Steam Punk
Steam Punk is a very Interesting thing. I have based some of the concepts I have done off of this style because of the retro look it achieves. also i think chris' robotic element to his story could benefit from this look.

the reason i am looking into steam punk is because of the character designs i think would be good use Junk food. such as the main protagonist from the movie "Steamboy"

1000 Cranes for Peace: Backgrounds
I did these quick backgrounds, made up of images. the girl in the window is only there as a place holder. as it is only the background concept. however i havent spoken to anja recently so im not 100% certain if this is what she wants, or wants me to do something else.
my reasoning behind these images compiled of the solid pictures as they are is because of the enthasis i wanted to put on freedom, or vice versa, being unable to be free unable to move the way she used to. so when i was asked to do these backgrounds i wanted to make it seem rigid on the inside, and bleak, without much hope. in contrast when you think of freedom you often would picture motion or escaping into a greater area.
